You have been waiting for this day to come, I have been waiting for this day to come probably even more. It is finally here, the day when Dragonfly Lingo’s MORNINGSIDE REMIX ALBUM hits the Internet.

The album is centred around Don Coscarelli’s PHANTASM cult classic horror film series, and features six versions of the track inspired by it:

1. MORNINGSIDE (CC VERSION) is DRAGONFLY LINGO’S version of the track, slightly different from the original album version featured on OFFSCREEN. “CC” stands for “Creative Commons,” the license that governs this remix album.

2. MORNINGSIDE (VIRTUOSO INVASION MIX BY VIRGO INTACTA) is a good old straightforward INDUSTRIAL/EBM take on the tune by the great band from the dark electronic capital of the Russian Federation – IZHEVSK.

3. MORNINGSIDE (BRAIN SPHERES MIX BY IVAN SPELL) is for all of you suave dance club lovers. Mr. Spell knows how to make you hit the dance-floor with his PROGRESSIVE and TRIBAL HOUSE vibes.

4. MORNINGSIDE (16 BIT MIX BY SOULSEEKAH) is the touch of the style that is fresh and sporty – the engaging 2-STEP GARAGE. You thought you could leave for the bar and have that horror-drink already? Not yet – you shall have to dance until you drop.

5. MORNINGSIDE (REVISITED BY AKA): now you can catch your breath while sipping on that complex cocktail and firing your synapses decoding the infinitely MINIMALIST conceptual music of the mysterious AKA MINIMALL.

6. MORNINGSIDE (GHOST-TUBE MIX BY INTERZONE INC): the cerebral pass is not over yet, it attains its apogee with the DARK AMBIENT DRONES of yet another mysterious artists. This is where you may take to the chill-out zone and let your mind float in the vast sombre soundscapes.
